Inspired by Maribel Hearn's Achievement History, ZPS's Score List, and ROX's The Library of Lotus.
Some of my achievements from shoot-em-ups games I've extracted from SilentSelene, as well as other Touhou fangames and neighbor shmup games. Commentary opinions are my own. Some games might not have many replay links due to missing files on my end. This list will be changed constantly based on how many replays I've achieved throughout.
Should I make this mobile-compatible? Probably not, who the heck downloads replay files on their cellphones anyway. (Mobile compatible, just broken.)

Most of the gameplays will only show screenshots. I promise I will make video recordings from now on.
Amusement Makers, 1998
The fourth Touhou game made for PC-98 machines. The extends were resourceful, but the amount of unfair bullets will make your life harder. Very enjoyable game, very cool characters, very good music for it's time. I still think Reimu as a boss is harder than Marisa. I forgot about every shot I used in these games.

Amusement Makers, 1998
The final PC-98 Touhou game before ZUN switched to Microsoft Windows with EoSD. A very brutal finale with extremely difficult patterns, scarce resources. Extremely memorable music, ethereal. "Oriental", as the community puts it.

The first Touhou made for Windows machines. It was pretty barebone, pretty broken, pretty crap. But it was timeless with the music, characters, and sound designs. I like to think ZUN didn't know he'd created a franchise with just three games alone.

The magnum opus of the trio as a whole. I can talk a lot about how this game is perfect, as it was considered the finale of Touhou back then. All in all, I like to think ZUN wanted to make something so grandeur to compensate for his sudden popularity, and it paid off super well.

Team Shanghai Alice, 2007
ZUN decided not to end the series and continued with Mountain of Faith, the first to cover religious insights and deeper lore, despite Touhou being an episodic series. It starts and ends with very strong visuals, music, and memorable characters. Years later, every Ema in shrines are still drawn with Moriya Shrine characters, and more.

Team Shanghai Alice, 2008
A game with a sudden steep learning curve compared to the ever-relaxing Mountain of Faith, with popcorns (round bullets) varied by size, alongside it's janky hitbox. Very difficult Orin & Okuu stage, best stage ever is Satori and Koishi; huge amount of memorable music, surpassing that of UFO.

I have many hot takes that was largely disproven by people, but I still stood by it: TD is horrible, all in terms of trance gathering mechanics, and indicator visuals. Players like me wouldn't even notice neither the sound nor the bar being filled. I got called skill issued for it, lol. The music was largely experimental, as ZUN was also working on Trojan Green Asteroid, which was not really my type. Desire Drive is a banger though.

This game introduced the most broken Marisa shot ever made, whereas you can use the 'genki-dama' to farm items for extend fragments. To this day, maybe it's just my standards for hard games have gone up, but I still feel like I cheated Lunatic with MarisaB.

My personal favorite game. The season gimmick was the only thing keeping the game from being as impossible as LoLK. Aunn and Okina are my favorite characters, and boss fights are a lot visually appealing.

Same as TD in terms of pacing. The mechanics are either broken or broken but worse (in good faith). Keiki's fight is very cool, and of course the MUSIC. Maybe I'm not the type for slow-pacing games, looking at you HSoB.

The game that's somehow harder than LoLK, with complex shenanigans from ZUN and more than 5000 different combos, quadruple that of UM. The first game to include detailed usage of AI for background, which sparks many arguments around ZUN's current artistic viewpoint.

UWASA Enterprise, 2019
One of the best Touhou fangames of all time. All shots are well-balanced, even the weakest one could plough through the stages with little difficulty. Very unique Extra stages with superb music, surpassing that of other fangames. A solid 10/10.

The most intense fangame I've ever played my entire life. The dev did their best to make the stages as complex and beautiful. The music are iconic, albeit underrated. This game should be played once you've been through Hard difficulty of official games to be able to do the Hard stage. (Although I felt like stage 6 was literally a "random bullshit go" moment).

System Erasure, 2018
The only good shmup of all games listed here. The stage design is tight, most enemies are no jokes to deal with, and you get plenty of resource to compensate the difficulty of this game. The shottypes vary a lot and they depends on how well you can manage them. A very intriguing and underrated game with an underrated community. 10/10.

Mayasuki Ito, 2023
An arcade shmup with extremely difficult stages, and you're equipped with 6 shottypes with special powerups to help you along the way. The music is superb for such a simple game. The atmosphere and the pacing resembles that of TRON (1982). If the shmup reminds you of Mushihimesama's level of difficulty, there's always the mouse option to make your movement ten times easier.
CAVE, 2006
The sequel to the original Mushihimesama with Original and Maniac mode, and an unlockable Ultra mode. Cave is famous with dense bullets and absurd Max Power extravaganza, so this game checks out.

CAVE, 2008
The sequel to Daioujou, with 3 ships alongside 2 special trinkets per each, and a special hyper gauge. As with Mushihimesama Futari, the game's main and only difficulty seems to be on par that of Maniac mode.
